I'm giving my current camera to my brother so I need a new one. A new one means an upgraded one. I would love a Leica but since it's a little out of reach and a little impractical for me, I'd settle for this Canon. I'd even settle for just the body. I'll take care of the lenses.
2.) Bose QuietComfort 2 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones
These headphones will be you best travel companion, especially on those long international flights I plan to go on. I realized today that these will be extremely useful when I go back to school full-time. No, not to tune out the teacher. It'll be helpful when I'm studying as I'm easily distracted.
That's all I can really think of. My brother and my mom will take care with the rest of my list (hopefully and thanks in advance!). If you're wondering why my list only includes electronics, well, I've got the clothes and the shoes covered. And a good friend told me to only ask for things that I like but wouldn't necessarily spend money on. =) Have a great time shopping for Christmas everyone!!!

i know what you/your good friend meant when s/he said to ask for things that you yourself wouldn't spend money on. your friend is wise unless it's your other friend in which case it was probably just a fluke. anyway i'm just wondering why a canon? i already got my dslr and opted for a nikon d60 but never really looked into canon. i tried those bose headsets and they're great! shoot if i can fork up $300 bucks on one of those suckers why not! their smaller ones are just perfect for my ipod it's just that htey don't cancel as much noise. so yeah back to my og q, why a canon? is it better than any other brands out there?
why a canon? coz it's no. 1 (and no. 2) on amazon (3, 4 and 5 are nikons). haha. nikon def has great lenses but people i know (arash and his cousin) both have canons (not this one, the more expensive one).
oh, and they both highly recommend it although it's too expensive. i think arash's camera is over $2k just for the body. anywho... i guess i'm gonna have to buy myself these presents coz i don't think i'm getting these from anyone anytime soon...maybe...hahaha
oh man my mobile comment didn't go through! oh well.. over $2k for a camera??!?!?! i'm no pro so i'll stick to the less-than-$1k cameras. it's a good thing you said nikon has good lenses cos i was already feeling a bit of regret over my nikon (i didn't know sh*z) LOL have fun shopping around!
You already know what you're getting from me! I am sure you have plenty of friends who won't think twice getting something from your wish list if they can afford it because unlike some people you actually deserve a fancy gift.
